With the development of electromyography in our country, in order to promote the training of medical professionals and standardize electrophysiological technology education, a study course on electromyography diagnosis and treatment of peripheral nerve injury, organized by Hand Surgery Department of Huashan Hospital affiliated to Fudan University, will be held in Shanghai Huashan Hospital on November 1, 2018. This class is devoted to peripheral nerve injury (spinal cord injury, nerve root injury, brachial plexus injury, lumbosacral plexus injury, single nerve injury, peripheral nerve compression, intraoperative electromyographic monitoring). It is divided into three parts: theoretical and anatomical knowledge teaching, strength operation and discussion of difficult cases. Through this course, the students can basically master peripheral nerve injury, clinical diagnosis and electromyography. Operational technology and diagnosis.
This course is chaired by Gu Yudong, honorary chairman of Hand Surgery Society of Chinese Medical Association, and chaired by Tian Dong. Domestic experts in intratheological/extratheological, hand surgery, orthopaedics and electrophysiology are invited to give lectures. The study class is a national continuing education base project, and the graduates of the project number: J18-8-10 (China) award 10 points to the national level I style of education.

1. Teaching methods: lecture (40%), discussion of difficult cases, standardized operation teaching, intraoperative EMG demonstration (60%).
2. Teaching objects: Neurologists, surgeons, orthopaedics, hand surgeries, rehabilitation departments, EMG rooms of special examination departments, and physicians and technicians engaged in intraoperative electrophysiological examination technology in teaching hospitals and medical units at all levels.
3. Reporting time: November 1, 2018 - November 4, 2018. On November 4, case discussions were arranged in three venues, with grouping and thematic discussions and sharing of difficult cases. Difficult cases were divided into: spinal cord injury, nerve root injury, brachial plexus injury, lumbosacral plexus injury, single nerve injury, peripheral nerve entrapment and so on.
